When you are already practicing law, the way to get more cases is to go after them yourself, or call in markers from your other lawyer friends.
If you have some friends or colleagues that specialize in other areas, then you can make an agreement within yourselves, to refer cases of specialty to one another. Like say for example, they’ll refer personal injury cases to you, and you refer violent crime cases to them. That way, you build up your network of associates and colleagues, and you never run out of cases.
You can also build a network with doctors, who handle medical conditions that usually result from personal injuries. Ask them to refer you to their patients if they think the patient needs more thanmedical assistance, and should file a personal injury lawsuit against the person who harmed them. You may want to be careful with this method though since too much of this may be considered, fishing, which in turn, is a ground for unethical acts.
